Piggy: Intercity Tier List
Data-driven tier rankings for weapons, items, and survival priorities. Updated for Demo and full release content.
Character Tiers
In Piggy: Intercity, you create a custom character rather than selecting pre-built survivors. Character "tier" here refers to build optimization — how effectively your skill allocation and gear match your playstyle.
- S-Tier Build: Stealth-focused with lockpick and noise reduction skills, light armor, melee backup
- A-Tier Build: Balanced combat with mid-tier weapons, moderate armor, healing items stocked
- B-Tier Build: Pure combat rush with heavy weapons but no stealth investment
- C-Tier Build: Unoptimized — no skill focus, random gear, poor consumable management
Weapon Tiers
Weapon effectiveness depends on ammo availability, noise generation, and encounter type.
| Tier | Weapons | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| S | Shotgun, Assault Rifle | Highest DPS but loud and ammo-hungry |
| A | Pistol, Pickaxe, Axe | Reliable mid-game options with manageable resource cost |
| B | Bat, Shovel | Common starters, adequate for low-density areas |
| C | Red Bat, variants | Cosmetic differences, no meaningful stat advantage |
| D | Unarmed | Never viable outside tutorial |
Item Priority
Survival items outrank combat gear in early progression. Prioritize consumables and map knowledge before investing in expensive weapons.
| Tier | Category | Priority Items |
|---|---|---|
| T0 | Survival Core | Food, water, safe room knowledge, map routes |
| T1 | Combat Tools | Bat, pistol, shotgun ammo |
| T2 | Progression | XP farming routes, shop unlocks, armor |
| T3 | Utility | Fuel cans, crafting materials, traps |
| T4 | Cosmetic | Clothing variants, collectible skins |
Methodology
Our tier rankings evaluate items across four criteria: acquisition difficulty, resource cost, noise impact, and survival value at each game stage.
S-tier items excel in at least three criteria. D-tier items fail to justify their inventory slot in most scenarios. Rankings update after each major game patch.
